COURSE OVERVIEW

The “Operate Scissor Lift” Course is aimed at providing individuals with the knowledge and skills to operate scissor lifts safely. At the end of the course, participants will be proficient in selection of appropriate scissor lifts, conducting *risk assessment and route checks, identification of hazards for scissor lift operations, basic scissor lift operations and reinstating scissors lift in a safe manner.

CE1  Prepare to carry out scissor lift operations

CE2  Carry out scissor lift operations

CE3  Conduct post operation for scissor lift

 

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

 

To register for this course, learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

1.     Have a basic knowledge of relevant sector of work

2.     Be able to listen speak, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the
Employability Skills (ES) Level 3

3.     Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to the (ES) Level 3

4.     Be medically fit to work at height

 

 

COURSE DETAILS

 

Duration:                         9 Hours 15 Minutes (inclusive 1 hour 15 minutes of assessment)

Language:                       English, Tamil, Bengali and Chinese

Course Fee:                    S$272.50/person. Inclusive of GST
