COURSE OVERVIEW
Upon completion of this unit, learners will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform the duties of an entrant and attendant when working in a confined space, use gas detection instruments and participate in an emergency situation
COURSE OUTLINE
CE1. Identify duties and responsibilities of all personnel involved in confined space work under the WSH Legislations and Codes of Practice
CE2. Identify confined space hazards
CE3. Use Gas Detection Instruments for atmospheric monitoring
CE4. Comply with Permit-to-Work system and safe work procedures when working in confined space
CE5. Participate in an Emergency for confined space
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
To register for this course, learners are assumed to:
1. Have basic knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE)
2. Know how to use basic PPE provided at workplace
3. Be able to follow written and oral work instructions
4. Be able to listen speak, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the
Employability Skills (ES) Level 2
5. Be able to process numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to the (ES) Level 2

CERTIFICATE
Statement Of Attainment (SOA) from SSG will only be issued for ENGLISH classes.
Safety passes from AA International Consultancy Pte Ltd will be issued to participant who passed the assessment and achieved 100% attendance.
E-Certificate will be awarded to trainees who has passed the assessment and achieved 100% attendance.
