COURSE OVERVIEW:

 

The Fire Watchman Safety Course is tailored for individuals seeking to become Fire Watchmen. This course equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge to oversee hot work activities safely. Whenever hot work is performed and a permit is required, having at least one trained and designated fire watchman on-site is mandatory to ensure fire safety compliance.

 COURSE OUTLINE

1.     Understand the critical role of a Fire Watcher.

2.     Identify different Hot Work categories & Their risks.

3.     Explore the fundamentals & behavior of Fire.

4.     Be Learn Fire Classification & effective extinguishing methods.

5.   Gain Hands-On skills in using Fire Extinguishers for Initial Response.

6.   Discover proper Fire Emergency Response.

7.   Implement Proactive Fire Prevention Strategies

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

 To register for this course, learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

1.     Basic knowledge of fire safety,

2.     Be able to listen speak, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the
Employability Skills (ES) Level 2,

3.     Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to the (ES) Level 2,

4.     Be medically fit.
